Meet Ashley aka Lee

I am a storyteller and a builder. That is what I have been called to do.
I am on a journey of self-discovery and self-development. I will honor my body and allow myself the safe space to become curious about who I am as a person, my thoughts, my feelings and my own experiences. By doing these things and sharing my path authentically, I hope to create safe spaces for other Black women and women of color to love, release, create and be vulnerable.

Lee Apostrophe Brands

Lee Apostrophe, LLC is the parent company to all my ideas/endeavors that have been calling to me for a number of years. They focus on my biggest passions: storytelling, wellness, entrepreneurship and travel.

The Apostrophe (') is used either to indicate either possession or the omission of something. I'm taking full possession over the way I move through this world by creating a life for myself that feeds my spirit. I will achieve this by addressing the many ways black and brown people are omitted from being their best selves in this world.

Let's build and heal together!

The Colorant Collective

The Colorant Collective is a co-working collective focused on telling stories of people of color. The mission is to highlight what black and brown  stories/creations would look like if created from a place of healing instead of place of trauma.

Shades of Womxn

Shades of Womxn is a lifestyle company that sparks conversations amongst girlfriends and sister circles. Inspired by the beauty of black, indigenous and womxn of color, we partner with artists and artisans from the BIPOC community to create products that inspire self love, self care and meaningful conversations.

Connect with the black, indigenous and womxn of color in your lives by purchasing products that can be used either as a gift to yourself and/or the womxn in your life.

The Prism Effect

The Prism Effect is a nonprofit that focuses on the marginalized youth seeing the world through service. The aim is to engage the youth with STEM educational programs and the creative arts. They will then take what they have learned and apply it through service (working with other non profits) to earn a yearly trip to a pre-planned destination.

Lee's Haven

A place where dreams come true. A place of joy. A place to create. A place to find peace. A place of mindfulness. A place to connect. A place to inspire. A place for clarity.

Lee's Haven is the ultimate goal (named after my two grandmothers, Nellie and Callie); it is where I want to house all of my endeavors. Acres of land with beautiful buildings, villas, landscaping, nature trails, lakes, greenhouses, etc.
